Welcome

My name is Mike Huguelet; and, I am a Democratic Candidate for Circuit Court Judge from the 15th Judicial Sub-circuit in Cook County in the General Primary Election to be held on February 2, 2010. I am seeking your Vote on February 2, 2010. I am Number 202 on the Democratic Primary ballot. Please tour my website to become more familiar with my legal experience, educational background and personal information.

I am a life long resident of Chicago’s Southwest Side, Oak Lawn, and for the past 18 years, the Village of Orland Park. I have been married for 33 years to my lovely wife, Denise, and blessed with 5 wonderful children and 1 grandson. I am a graduate of Brother Rice High School, the University of Notre Dame and The John Marshall Law School.

During my 30 years in practice, particularly the past 10 years as Orland Park Village Prosecutor, I have observed first hand the necessity for a competent, fair, impartial and independent judiciary. To many citizens, the importance of the judicial branch may not be readily apparent. Members of the judiciary do not make laws or set policy. However, the belief of our citizens in the fairness and impartiality of the judicial branch is fundamental to the preservation of our democracy. I am committed to serve all of the citizens of Cook County, both big and small, and be the kind of judge that the citizens of Cook County deserve and expect.

I would be honored to have your Vote on February 2nd, and look forward to serving you as a Circuit Court Judge.

Please Remember - Punch #202 on 2/02! (February 2nd)
