I voluntarily participated in the Judicial Evaluation process by the major Bar Associations and have been found either “Qualified” or “Recommended” by these Bar Associations. The evaluation process consisted of presenting extensive biographical and other background data, verification of my legal practice and experience, interviews with my judicial references, interviews with my references from other lawyers who are familiar with my legal work and reputation in the legal community and a personal interview with the Committee(s) to personally present my credentials and give the Committee(s) an opportunity to question me regarding my credentials, as well as any other matter which they feel is appropriate in order to make an evaluation of my qualifications and fitness to serve as a Circuit Court Judge. The specific results of the Judicial Evaluations are as follows:
Qualified:
- Illinois State Bar Association
- The Chicago Bar Association
- Puerto Rican Bar Association of Illinois
- Asian American Bar Association
Recommended:
- Cook County Bar Association
- Black Women Lawyers' Association of Greater Chicago, Inc.
- Women's Bar Association
- Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago
